“I have been a part of strength sports for well over a decade. I specialize in powerlifting and olympic lifting with a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in both sports. As a national level athlete, I been to the highest levels in both disciplines and continue to push myself in training. I work with all athletes from early beginners to advanced lifters, and am passionate about helping people find their strength— mentally, physically, and emotionally.”
What informs your process?
“As a trainer my process is informed mainly by the client. I believe that a strong coach-athlete relationship is the best line towards great progress. ”
How do you help people achieve their goals?
“I help people achieve their goals by constantly reinforcing the basics. Regardless of where you are as an athlete, theres always room to improve the simple things. A strong foundation will allow you to overcome obstacle you face in training.”
What makes a great coach?
“I think a great coach is someone who is empathetic and can also create a clear picture of the short and long term goals of training. Keeping athletes focused on where they want to go but also being their for all the little bumps in the road that come along the way.”
