What informs your process?

“My lifelong study as a dancer deeply informs how I train. I am always working to enhance my clients' understanding of their bodies. I do this by fostering the brain-body connection through exercises, as well as guided conversations about both long-term and short-term goals. I always want my clients to understand why we are doing something, how it benefits them, and how they can scale it based on the level of commitment they are willing to make. For some clients, this means being patient and not rushing them into a new phase if they're not yet comfortable. For others, it may mean offering a helping hand to challenge them to show up and push themselves. My process is also informed by the fact that I am trans. This aspect of my life allows me to connect with people who may struggle to feel at home in their bodies.”

How do you help people achieve their goals?

“As a coach, I prioritize being fully present and deeply engaged with my clients. I take the time to understand not only their fitness goals but also the reasons behind them. Each session is an opportunity for me to check in on how my client’s body, mind, heart, and spirit are feeling, so I can adjust the workout to meet them where they are that day. I believe in setting realistic expectations and being transparent about the effort it takes to achieve meaningful progress. If they are aiming for specific goals, I’ll offer a dose of tough love and a reality check to help them understand the commitment required. My goal is to encourage them to show up for themselves fully, while providing the support and motivation to reach their highest potential.”

What makes a great coach?

“I like to think I am a great coach because I genuinely feel connected to each of my clients. I love people and always have. Additionally, I am fascinated by the human body and how each one is unique. This fascination with individuals on a holistic level brings me so much joy in my work and fuels my drive to excel in my field. I believe the relationship people have with their bodies is essential, and I am dedicated to helping my clients build a deep and healthy relationship with theirs while pursuing goals that require discipline.”
